Scotland - North East Coast

It is amazing that one accident can totally cut off the Highlands from the rest of Scotland! We found a Picnic Area beside the Dunbeath River where we could stay for the night and set off on foot to explore the area. Top photo is Dunbeath Beach near the river mouth. Bottom photo is the Dunbeath Bridge where the traffic stayed parked all night until the accident cleared.
